Excellent Hawaiian food. Friendly service. Delighted food. Noodles soup is very fine. Coconut desert is excellent. A must-go

This is a cute little place, situated in a converted old pioneer home. Our family of four had high hopes of enjoying some great Hawaiian food since the reviews on Yelp were so high. All four of us ordered the Seared Ahi special (my son wanted the Mahi Mahi but they were out of that). We figured that we couldn't go wrong with the night's special. The server, who was scratching her ear with a finger while taking our order, repeatedly asked my daughter if she knew they seared ahi was served rare in the middle. We assured her that our daughter knows how seared ahi is served, and she likes it that way. When our entrees arrived, all four steaks were served thoroughly cooked inside and out and were very dry. We were hungry so we ate it anyway, but when we told our server that we were disappointed with the ahi, she went in back and we heard her arguing with the manager/cook about the proper way to cook seared ahi (?!) Anyway, they comped us one desert, so I asked for the coconut desert, but they were out of that. So instead I got a piece of $4 cheesecake which was really small (3" square and about 1/2" thick) topped with a dollop of canned cherry pie filling--not very special. My daughter ordered the brownie desert, which she did enjoy a lot. Overall we were disappointed with both the food and the service level of this restaurant. Perhaps all the other items on the menu are good, but don't order the seared ahi or salmon because they really don't know how to cook it right.

Very good food.....we were strolling through the area around lunch and could smell the teriyaki chicken cooking on their grill. We already had lunch plans, but we came back for dinner! Very quaint and charming restaurant with good food and great prices.

A great lunch as we passed through St. George. We decided to bypass I-15 and take hwy 91 around to the Arizona border. The food was delicious and many of the ingredients came out of either the garden in back or from the open-air green grocer across the street. Try the kim chee for a delicious appetizer!

A real Hawaiian gem in historic Santa Clara. Was shopping at the Bodega nearby and asked for dining recommendation and their first pick was Ka'ili's. This is a plain good value for great food and service. My only negative was they did not offer macaroni salad (which is a very popular Hawaiian fare) and we have acquired a taste for it.

What an amazing find! I was seriously blown away by the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices. I'm not sure I can add much to the other fantastic, glowing reviews about this place, but I will say that everything that has been said about this place by others is spot on. This is high quality, delicious food at a price that won't break your wallet. Describing this as Hawaiian food doesn't fully capture the high-end nature of the cuisine you'll find here. We've eaten here twice in the past week. Once we dined in and the other time we just ordered our meal as take out (we have a small baby and so eating in restaurants is often challenging). My wife had the teriyaki chicken cake noodles and I had the salmon cake noodles; we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. This was the first time trying cake noodles for me. The Yakisoba noodles were cooked to perfection and, true to the name, they were formed in the shape of a flat cake-like shape seared on both sides. The salmon was perfectly cooked and was moist, tender, and succulent. The sauce and the cabbage was amazing. The coconut dream desert was divine. It reminded my wife and I of a Puerto Rican desert we like called tembleque. It has a subtle, sublime taste that is difficult to pinpoint. It's not a heavy desert, nor is it overly sugary. It' has a wonderful flavor and texture. Truth be told, every single order that we say going out of the kitchen to other tables made my wife and I say to each other, "We've got to come back here so we can try that!". Once in a while I'll eat a place that is so good that it qualifies as being therapeutic. This is one of those places; the food I had here healed me after a long run!

Amazing experience! Owners came out and welcomed us. A most charming atmosphere in a renovated home from the 1880s. Most of all, the food was absolutely fantastic. It truly one of the most authentic and best dining experiences I've had .

Good little joint in small-town America. Authentic Hawaiian food set in a home from the 1800's. Definitely unique.

Our family love this place! Small local restaurant, I would recommend getting a reservation because seating is limited.we got an order of fried rice to share and we look to the plate clean. For my entrée I got the teriyaki chicken and it was delicious! We also got the Kalua pork it was very good as well. Overall everything we ordered we really liked. We will be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are missing Hawaii!!!

Good dinner portions! A nice, locally owned Hawaiian restaurant. Fresh / crisp salad and vegetables made me smile. I had the chicken teriyaki plate - it was untypically delicious! Chicken sectioned and cooked just right with a not-too-sweet sauce. Husband had Kailua pork which was tender but may have tasted better with the teriyaki sauce ordered than the brown gravy it came with. Overall good meal. We'll be back.

Fantastic! Teriyaki beef and Chinese pork with veggies and cake noodles were both great! Very reasonable prices, too.

What a cute little restaurant in St. George that is not a chain! We made reservations for 730 and since there are only about 8 tables in the whole place we did wait for a little bit, but the manager was really sweet and apologized for the wait. And gave us some pretty tasty pineapple appetizers. We split the Kahlua pork and white rice with veggies and had Kimchee to start. Not a fan of the kimchee but I think its just because I had no idea what it was and don't like spicy food. I'm sure its good if you like that kinda thing. No adult beverages which is always a bummer, because a crisp glass of sauvignon blanc would have been awesome with the meal. Oh, and the bill was less than $25! We had the infused lemonade but it was a bit sweet, again I'm sure if you like sweet lemonade it would be perfect for you.

I brought my hubby here a few weeks after I'd' eaten here with girlfriends. He really liked it! Yeah!!!! The teriyaki chicken was superb and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork. We'll make it a regular stop when we're in town.

I finally went here today after wanting to come here for a while. I had the Charsu pork on cake noodles and they were amazing. I was a little skeptical of the place at first and seeing the price of the plate (about $11) but I was totally blown away. I really enjoyed the meal and look forward to coming back again. The restaurant is in an old restored home and is quite intimate, especially with their friendly family staff. Its a small local operation and I love being able to support them by eating here. We went around 12pm and it was actually pretty slow. I think there was only one other table there besides us. We also had dessert - a brownie a la mode and cherry cheesecake. Now, normally, I despise cheesecake. Its one of the most terrible dessert creations known to man. Normally the "cheese" portion is absurdly thick and its all you can taste (plus the terrible texture...) However this one was excellent. The "cheese" portion is about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch thick - which makes the flavor of the crust and topping a lot more noticeable and the taste is much more balanced than any other cheesecake. It was quite good. The outdoor seating is nice as well. We ate outside and they put a table cloth on for us - a nice touch. The service was excellent and the weather outside was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend trying this place out. Im looking forward to trying out their kalua pork next, but who knows...I might just get the cake noodles again. They were too good to try anything else... NOTE: They cater for holidays and other such group events. They also take orders ahead of time if you are in a hurry and want your food to be ready when you arrive. You can also call ahead of time if you are bringing a big group in to eat and they'll prepare everything in advance, making it much more stress free.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich. Very tasty steak sandwich, but a few chewy spots. Would like to see a few more side choices. Very nice people managing and serving.

Love the food and company here. The noodle pancake and teriyaki beef are my favorite. The juices are also really refreshing. I have yet to get something here that I haven't enjoyed.

Great local eatery, with local produce used. There was a small farmers market kiddie corner and across the street where a lot of the produce is purchased. I had mixed ideas about stopping here for lunch, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I ordered the teriyaki chicken lunch special and it tasted phenomenal! Super full! The food was so tasty. I was impressed it included a drink of choice ( even fruit juices) with unlimited refills. All of my parties food was excellent. The service was good but seemed like everything took an extended amount of time. It was approx. 30 min wait for our food to brought out after ordering. I gave 4 stars due to dessert. Dessert was tasty but very small for the money. Not large enough to share. Overall, service and food were exceptional!

This place is incredible. Hands down, I believe it's the best food in St George. I recently moved from New York City back to Utah and my tastes for food have been refined by life in the big city and this place could hold its own in Manhattan, let alone the little town of Sant Clara Utah. It was so good, the first time we visited we came back again the same day for dinner. As for the food, the pork sandwich was really good, and the salad and dressing on the side was quite unique and tasty! But if you want to the best thing on the menu, get the cake noodles. I've had the pork and salmon cake noodles. Both are exceptional, but the salmon was my favorite. And don't skip out on dessert either. The coconut dream has a subtle but delicious taste. If you want a little sweeter, stronger dessert, get the cheesecake. It's just the right proportions of crumb crust, cheesecake, and topping. So good! Go here. It's great. Do it now. 3. 2. 1. Now. Oh, and one last thing: the family that owns and operates the store (The Bassos) are so cool. Yet another reason to eat here. Go ahead, jut take my money

Aloha! Anyone who knows me knows I love island food. Those that know me best know I have wanted to open a Hawaiian Grill for some time (just can't get the oysters or clams to get it done). While Hawaiian grills are becoming more plentiful, it is nice to have finally found one that is a bit more nice. You know, where you can sit down and be waited on and take your time to enjoy the experience as well as the food. If good Hawaiian food with a sit down restaurant is what you are looking for, you will likely need to drive to beautiful Santa Clara, Utah to find it. Ka'ili's is small and quaint. The indoor dining rooms seat about 20 total and there are a few tables outside too. They have a pit bbq going and the smokiness reminds me of a luau bbq on the islands. The food is authentic Hawaiian (and this Haole knows). The menu is as small as the mid 19th century home that is now the restaurant. We didn't mind as we were in a bit of a rush so we didn't have to spend too much time going through each option. We had the teriyaki chicken and the bbq chicken with fried rice w/spam and pork roast. Very Ono! The owners and the one employee were all very friendly and concerned that you enjoyed your evening. So, why not 5 stars? A few more options (not too many more) would have been nice. We could have used a water refill or more than two rolls. The food, as previously stated, was delicious, but I have had or made better or as good so I can't say this was the best I have had. That being said, we will make it a point to return again and again. Great job Herb and Wendy! Thank you for making us feel welcomed and for feeding us such a wonderful meal. Mahalo Nui Loa!

Great home style Hawaiian meals. I had the Kailua pork, very moist and fresh. My wife had the salmon plate, also very fresh and a colorful mix of fresh veggies. Fresh garden flowers on the table that were picked from the outside garden. Looks like they were growing there herbs as well. The building an original home build in the mid 1880's.

My husband and I ate at Ka'ili's tonight for the first time. It was delicious. I had the ribeye steak. The meat was tender and the seasoning was wonderful. My husband had the teriyaki chicken and it was also tender a tasty. I am not a big fan of yellow squash, but even that was delicious. We also enjoyed the herb lemonade. Ka'ili's is well worth the visit and a revisit. We will definitely be going back!
